I received a charge of $506.68 on December 5th, 2016. I was confused and I contacted both Verizon and my credit card company for more information. They both claimed that they had no idea what this transaction was. Then I found this website and found out it was all just a scam/fraud. Thank you to vCharges and all those who posted helpful answers.

VZWRLSS*MY VZ VW P 800-922-0204 NJ was the charges I received, there were 2 totaling $685.09. I was notified by my bank through an alert that my card was used online or by phone and I started looking into it. I talked to the fraud dept and financial services with Verizon ( I have a phone through Verizon but i'm the 3rd line and do not pay to Verizon so they don't have my card info) and all they kept doing is checking on the vz phone bill even though I said it was not from that. Called back again and there is a claim so whoever could not get the fraudulent merchandise and there is a claim with my bank to get my money back. BTW the phone number on my bank account was Verizon's actual Contact phone number. I didn't want to call it since other sites talk about calls asking for your info and supposedly giving a refund but was spam or fraud.

VZWRLSS*IVR VE 800-922-0204 took $267.00 out of my checking account. This happened on October 21, 2015. I have no idea how they got my card number. Will be contacting my bank ASAP regarding this matter

Had an unauthorized charge of $85 this was on account summary VZWRLSS*IVR VE 800-922-0204 Verizon did not do this. They also said that they had not heard of this scam before which I find hard to believe.

I didn't get any calls from this number, like many of you, but i just discovered VZWRLSS ECARS OT FOLSOM has been taking money from my ATM account. I opened this account recently, so this scam happens very quickly. I would recommend everyone to look at all bank and credit card statements very carefully all the time.

This vzwrlss prepaid scam is worldwide! I booked few hotels in USA and then the charges started appearing on my credit card account. Not only that I don't have an account with any American telco but I live in Australia! I also have charges from Sprint wireless as well as Vesta Boost Prepaid so I am feeling pretty popular as well as angry. Needless to say, I have cancelled my credit card but I have to contact all of the hotels and booking agents to give them my new details so whose to say it won't happen again? I just hope that it doesn't mess up any of my bookings. I would have used Paypal but a lot of places don't take it if you live outside of the united states of America
