What are the normal business hours? I have called both 1-844-400-0452 and 1-855-309-8345 several times through out the day starting with mid morning until just now at 3:30 in afternoon. A voice comes on and says "thank you for calling Tech Protect. Call back during normal business hours". It is Friday. What are the hours? In the US? I need to cancel this. It is unauthorized.

Tech Protect has been charging a $10.99 charge to my AMEX account each month (I have auto pay). It was not until I closed AMEX account that I noticed this charge that occurs on the first of each month. The phone number of 855-309-8345 does not appear to be working. I have read that Verizon used to have this company for technical support but no more. I do not know how to contact ESH Tech Support. Someone has continued to charge 10.99 a month. There are withdrawals frm a banking institution on July 1 and August 1, 2022. How do I stop these payments?

I have had this service for several years now and have not had any issues. Dropped my phone a couple months back paid the deductible I was told about and got a new phone in 2 days. I pay less than $10 a month for protection. I called today to change my card information because I had gotten a new one. Spoke with Joseph he was very helpful and changed it with no issues. Very polite and very helpful.

We did sign up for this insurance but have since replaced the insured phone. I have called to cancel this service for the last 4 months and each time the rep says it is canceled only for the charge to show up again the following month. Reporting them to my card company and requesting reimbursement.

Terrible company. I have been trying for months to get them to stop charging me. I even canceled my debit card. And VISA gave them my new card number. Due to the fact I had been paying them on my old card. Still working on trying to cancel. For anyone thinking of going with this company DO NOT DO IT. It will be a nightmare to get away from them. I am still trying.

This company has been charging my card for two years. I had asked nine months ago to unsubscribe. You can't get a human on the phone. I called Verizon and they redirect. $37.74 per month and sometimes it causes overdraft fees. You cannot reach a human to unsubscribe. Someone please help.

everyone should get a class action suit filed against this crooked company! I bought my first phone in may 2015 and now that my contract is up, I went in today, July 1st, 2017 and the Verizon company shows that I have no insurance! 26 months of paying $10.99 that comes out the first of each month and I find out I am not even NOT covered!!!! Need to SUE this company!!!

Bought iPhone 6 sept. 2014. Guy told me to get esh protect, $11.something a month. SAid they fixed everything cheaper then apple. Today after paying for 2 years I check on battery replacement, guy told me it was $199 deductible. I almost sh@t I laughed so hard. I advised him apple charges $79.00 to replace it. He then advised me I should go to apple then. Sooo, I'm no longer an esh customer!

I signed up for this insurance when I purchased my phone with the understanding that if I was to forgo the Assurian insurance through Verizon, I would pay a slightly higher premium but have zero deductible and would be able to bring my phone into a Verizon retailer and have it swapped out for a brand new phone. My phone has started acting up. It isn't broken or cracked and has no water damage. It just started "dying" with anything less than 70% battery life. It would shut down and attempt to restart and basically continue to do that until the battery was, indeed, dead. The people at Verizon did everything in their power to fix it in the store but with no luck. I called to file a claim. The lady on the phone told me that there was $199 deductible and stated that it was in the fine print. The Verizon sales man told me "no deductable". I was scammed... or stupid for taking him at his word. Well fine. Then i asked about getting a new phone. I was quickly informed that they no longer swapped out for new phones. When I asked why, she simply said "all of the terms you agreed to were subject to change." They have my email address, home address, and phone number. Shouldn't they have to notify you if the what you are paying for is not longer what you are getting? I'm so sad right now and not really sure what to do. If I cancel, I can't get my phone issues corrected, but if I give in I feel like I've been scammed and I'm paying them to let them do it. Any suggestions?

I actually signed up for this insurance and when needed realized that they just stopped charging me after 4 months and never notified me. I was under the impression that I had the insurance. Huge lack of communication.

I thought my screen had cracked and called customer service for a replacement which showed up in a reasonable time. You have to then go to a Verizon office to get data transferred etc. That is when we found out that the screen was not cracked, only the screen saver had cracked. ESH would not refund the deductible of $129.00 despite never using or needed the replacement. Their excuse was a policy. I cancelled two insurance policies the same day. What a joke in today's world where policy rules and logic and customer service take second place. Think twice before using this company.

I switched from Verizon to Sprint two months ago, I noticed this charge on my account, and went to my bank. The bank called ESH and asked what the charge was for. When informed that I am no longer a Verizon customer, I was told I would be emailed a form, and have to provide proof, that I had switched carriers. Think I ever received the form?? HA! This is outright theft, and it's disgusting that Verizon can get away with this. I'll actually pay the fee, to put a stop payment on any withdrawals from ESH. As for my experience with Verizon, if it had been mugged and had my purse stolen, it would have been a more honest transaction, than my entire wretched experience with that company.

  • May 22, 2016
I had to use my "insurance". After paying $140 for a replacement phone, NEVER did the verizon rep tell me the phones were refurbished! The refurbished phone has continuously shut off. Just keeps shutting off. I've tried to call them and it just goes to a line of music! I am filing a complaint with both Verizon and The Better Business Bureau!
