I, too, thought I'd been duped by VENDO. At the outset, I thought I was getting a one- day-trial for .95, to look around, nothing else. I did see the .83 charge daily, below the one-day-trial, for the monthly cost of 27-some-dollars--but I just wanted to look around. So I said, what the heck, and slapped down my debit card for .95. The next day I was astounded to see the deductions from my debit card, crediting VENDO for monies I thought I hadn't authorized. Naturally I called them and gave the Rep. a good bit#$ out, after, I slammed down the phone, knowing I wasn't going to get my money back. I was so miffed I went back to the site I made the sign-up transaction at, and to my chagrin, there it was, on the right, in plain sight, the FINE PRINT: Trial: 1 day trial to a subscription RENEWING EVERY MONTH, EPOCH.COM, the merchant of record, is the payment processor for NETCLOUDSE. Today's charge is: $1.00 for 1 day. THEREAFTER, $39.95 every 1 MONTH, MEMBERSHIP RENEWS 1 MONTH UNTIL CANCELLED. (To the left of the following, here, a box was already ticked, that I initially was unaware of) >>Sign me up for a 2 day membership to www.VideosZ.com for $ 1.11. AFTER 2 DAYS, MEMBERSHIP RENEWS AUTOMATICALLY $ 39.97 every 1 month. Terms and Conditions EPOCH.COM *NETCLOUDSE will appear on your billing statement. Because this fine print was so explicit in its details, I called back and gave a sincere apology for my behavior and ignorance as a consumer. We've got to read the fine print, guys. Too, I highly suspect that most offended people here did the same as I: thinking it was only a buck to look around, slapped the card down to pay without giving much attention to, firstly, whom we were really paying, secondly, what the real terms and conditions of what we were really paying for (not noting the checked box of other services we we're agreeing to pay for, for example) and, lastly, what the duration was going to be had we not cancelled within the specified time clearly noted for all to read. Did you even know that you had to cancel something, too, within a specified time?--all because we--again--didn't read the fine print. VENDO is not liable for our irresponsibility to not doing what we should be doing, all along, on our side of a money transaction--being fully aware Thanks for all your help to clear up my misconceptions today, Vendo--satisfied customer.

I was charged over $150 NZD by Vendosupport over the last few months. I had subscribed to a website and cancelled my subscription after 3 days. What I didn't know was that I had also been subscripted to another website in the fine print, so when I cancelled my original subscription, the other was still active and taking money for the second subscription. I contacted my bank, when I saw the money coming out of my account, who couldn't/wouldn't do anything, and then contacted vendosupport helpline, who someone had listed above in a post. For New Zealand it is 0800442680 Toll Free and had someone on the line within 1 minute, and she looked up the issue and let me know about the other subscription. She was able to cancel it for me (literally a few minutes ago), and so I am now just waiting to see my next bank statement to see if it worked. She was extremely helpful and it took only a few minutes for her to track down what subscription was still active and deal with it. So thank you very much to the person who posted the helpline numbers. I suggest to others to ring and see if there is a subscription they have that they don't know about, and get it cancelled.

This was my post above. I was charged the month after calling the support line, but it was only 2 days after calling them, so thought it was probably too soon to be cancelled. Was waiting with baited breath for this months statements. NO CHARGES, WOOHOO!!!!! It worked. So definitely, give the helpline a call. What I have pieced together, Vendo seems to be like a third party collector. The individual websites that have the subscriptions go through Vendo to collect the money. So Vendo isn't actually the ones taking your money. They are the middle man. Contact them to find out which websites you have been subscribed too. Even like me, you probably don't know you are subscribed to them. Get them cancelled. Well, this is what I have come up with. Maybe im wrong, but it did work for me.

Took out my account, £22.95, £25.95, £0.95, £0.95, £0.95, from between the 10th Feb - 18th Feb. Been in touch with bank, who have re credited me for all payments taken and i had to cancel my bank card. Within 2 days of cancling card another £22.95 was taken. Called bank again, refunded it then told me i have to phone up vendo myself and cancle what ever it is they've set up with them, as the bank car'nt do anything about it as it's an unauthorised website. So will call them tomorrow and see what happens.. Wish me luck.. lol

I've been charged by Vendo Support to my credit card. I think when you subscribe to certain web sites they charge you for accessing that site but others as well. I don't like it because they're charging you just for looking at a web site.

I have been charged $37.19 NZD by vendosupport (without my consent or prior acknowledgement) a service which I have not accepted and have no subscriptions to. I have never subscribed to any of your services or any sites that are related to your service. I request that you grant me a full refund of the amount you have deducted from my account and cancel any subscriptions that you have instilled on me as soon as possible.
