I received a letter from the IRS saying that I owed them $2000.00 from last year. I looked on my credit card statement and it was made out to the same as above, US Treasury Tax Pa 615-730-6367 TN. I also paid this off the IRS website. There is a charge below it that says VAULUTAXPAYMENT CO with the same phone number in TN. The IRS never got my payment.

We paid our federal taxes via this "authorized" company found on the IRS official web page and now we are receiving a notice that our taxes have not been paid.

I paid my return through this website off of H&R Block File for Free. Then I got a letter from the IRS a couple of months later saying that I still owed them the payment! What do I do to show the IRS that I paid them? I have a statement in my bank account saying that I already paid my return.

I paid my federal tax return through payusatax.com which was offered by H&R Block. Money was deducted by Us Treasury Tax Pa 615-730-6367 Tn on my credit card history. However, I received a notification letter from IRS 2 months later. Their record showed I had unpaid taxes and penalties. I contacted payusatax.com and I found out the payment had to be applied to the primary taxpayer. When I made the payment, I put my SSN# instead of my husband's who was the primary taxpayer. Even when we were filing taxes jointly, they didn't recognize my SSN# and that was why the money did not go through. I had to contact IRS which was the hardest, but I got to explain to them about the transaction. They finally accepted my payment after many phone calls I made. It was very time consuming and frustration, but so worth saving $900.

OMG I also paid $1,000.00 using this site which was link to the IRS and today received a letter from IRS asking for the payment plus late fees! What next?

i payed $5437 for 2016 to Treasury Tax PA and just got a letter from the IRS that no funds were payed 2 months later, I hope this isn't a scam because it was a link i got off the IRS website?

I paid my Estimated taxes on 1-8-2015 of $1000. I just found out the IRS never received the money when they reduced my refund by $1000.

I paid my taxes ($847) by credit card in Feb. to the US Treasury Tax PA 542929804037604 Nashville, TN. The other day I received a letter from the IRS stating I owe $847 plus interest and penalty.
