I started getting this magazine in the mail. I immediately emailed them and said I will not pay for a magazine that I never heard of or ordered. The magazine kept coming in the mail. I sent a second email. No reply. Of Course. Then I noticed a debit transaction in our bank account for TWX entertainment for 24.95. I googled it and was horrified to find out it was Entertainment Weekly Magazine. Theft !!! I have NO idea how they got my banking information but I guarantee it wasn't from me.
BAM offered free subscriptions to magazines. I didn't want the subscriptions but the cashier bullied me into signing up. I don't even want this magazine so why is it I should pay for it. All it does is go straight to the garbage. I would like the $24.50 refunded especially since 1) I don't read it and don't want it 2) I'm a poor college student who can't afford to pay $25 a month for a magazine. Would also like to my name taken off so this doesn't happen again. Because of this, I will no longer be shopping at BAM.
$24.50 was charged to my bank account without my prior knowledge or consent. I am very concerned, because I NEVER gave anybody my debit information to enable such a charge. Please reimburse me and DO NOT let this happen again. I also have no idea if this is a subscription or not. Regardless I DO NOT want this magazine.
A charge of $24.50 was applied to my account on May 31, 2013 when I selected the three magazines two months prior. I never wished for my subscription to continue, and was never given any information on how to cancel. I want a refund of my $24.50 and my "subscription" canceled.
I've been trying to cancel my subscription with this merchant, however their automated telephone service doesn't recognize my account and their is no option to speak with a person.
