I did book a travel through Hotel.com. This transaction did not passed but Travel Reservation USA took over $300 from my bank account.

I just wanted to say that it startled me at first. However, I did book a travel through Expedia. I opted for a Flight + Car Rental package. And based off the information I see on my bank statement, the total I'm being charged from TRAVEL RESERVATION + the amount I'm being charged from United Airlines (via Expedia) is the same exact amount I agreed to pay in Checkout. I hope this eases some, if not all, of your worries.
