I'm embarrassed about this. I don't think much about money - it's a means of survival. I'm not a big spender, so I don't notice things like this. In the past, my bank has alerted me to specific patterns of unusual spending. This one was missed because my bank has changed hands twice since I first opened an account with them. This credit card is one that I use, usually, only when I travel, so I don't think about it much. There was one initial payment of $185.00 made to an alleged business in California named "Ultimate Life Healing." There were fourteen consecutive payments made monthly - the first month two payments - to various alleged businesses in Utah, Washington, and Colorado. Some have the same (I assume) phone numbers attached to the transactions. The amount was for $29.95. In total, I calculated $604.30. I have a pretty decent memory, so I find it most disturbing that I don't remember any of these company names. The categories that were referenced were "Merchandise," "Other," and "Everyday Spending." I have made a list of these transactions, showing the names of these "businesses" and the numbers that I can only assume are telephone numbers.
