I received an alert text while I was asleep about a charge for TM *TICKETMASTER LOS ANG and then signed into my bank app to see what it was talking about. I currently have a "Pending" debit of $431.17 for something I didn't purchase/order. Reaching out to Ticketmaster is already a pain. But they sent an email response after 24hrs that tells me that they don't see an order number and what it would look like on the receipt (which I don't have and is why I am trying to find out what is going on). Then even goes on to say that if I bought the tickets from a third-party seller that uses them. To just contact them to request a refund (and then links their TOS). But it all ignores that I stated that I DIDN'T place any order and I can't go to request a refund from a third-party if I have no idea about anything other than that I have a pending charge on my checking account that will overdraft me. And that I am prepared to provide my card info if they (like many large retail/services companies can do) can look up the order via the card. I just really want to prevent an overdraft and can't afford for so much money to just be taken. They are gonna let someone go to whatever event that the charge is for and act like they can't do anything. They are getting paid, and someone in CA (I am from the east coast) will just be going to an event. And I am just going to be used. Doesn't help that it was done on a weekend that the bank is closed on Monday because of a holiday (given how majorly important banks are in this capitalist system, they shouldn't be allowed to close). Going to get a new card, but I can't lose over $400 for shit I didn't personally order!
