It started a a breakfast place where the check/bill had a QR code on it to scan for payment. I was new to the place and the place was new, so I went along with the program giving up my charge card number to STCLIK. When I went to check out I found that the process didn't work, so paid with my charge card. That was on the morning and then in the afternoon my bank called me to report suspicious activity...a $1.00 charge and also a separate charge for the breakfast. I said to the my bank person that the charge was indeed mine. Case closed BUT today my bank called me again and told me that a 49.95 charge was made to my account by STCLIK. I told my bank person it was not my charge and they were right. It appears to be fraud. My bank stopped the $49.95 charge and put an alert on STCLIK to not pay. I'm now having to cancel my charge card and get another.
