OOPS! I did buy an item but in Canada so I thought the charges were wrong but they were not!!! Ignore my previous post!

I don't shop overstock and was surprised to see this. It has not shown up on my account yet but my card informed me that the charge was approved. I have put a freeze on my card.

They charged $250 from my business account without authorization. They also send me email blasts constantly. I tried calling on a Saturday but they are not available.

I used to love shopping at Overstock but this certainly spoils that. I did receive merchandise but I had only viewed it. I knew something was going on but just now pinned it down.

My debit card was fraudelently used to make a purchase in dollars equivalent to 7,653.61 on this site and after a week they even charged a sucrharge of INR 6.36. What is happening, if there are so many fraud complaints how come they have not taken action. We should all report to police and have this company shut down if they cannot manage to stop these fraud transactions - why is everyone shopping here. maybe the company too is involved in hacking and cloning cards.

Same as the other people, I've never even seen this sight before and then a week ago 149 dollars of the $150 gift card, was taken from the total. Leaving only a Dollar left in checking. I hadn't even unwrapped the gift card from its sealed packaging. This practically proves on my end that whoever this is is hacking, and all these people aren't loosing their minds, and that indeed they never spent a single cent on this site.

Company said they are a seller of vacations. Never received any information but have been contacted to send more money to "ensure my vacation based on double occupancy."

A charge of $14.95 was put through by Overstock - when I phoned, the agent said "it is renewal for your membership" I never became a member of this outfit and this fradulent charge was put through without my knowledge or consent. Do not deal with this company!!!!!!!!

Also had the unauthorized $10 charged to my PayPal debit card, and to my husband's on the same day. Cancelled both cards.

I had an unauthorized $1.00 charge today. Online chatted with o.co who gave me the loss prevention number to call - 866.211.0729. They told me it was a $1.00 Wounded Warrior gift, likely from someone trying to see if the number was valid before they went on and made larger charges. Overstock was very helpful and cancelled the charge, and advised me to contact my bank to cancel my debit card, which I immediately did.

Was charged 21$ by overstock, but after giving them a call, they reminded me that i actually did buy something from them and had such a relief. i suppose it might be one of those middle-people charge companies that conglomerate websites use.

I just checked my statement today and I had several charges on it from this "Overstock" thing, plus a couple others from Starbucks and Drugstore.com. I decided toc heck another card and lo and behold there were charges on that one too from the same places! Now I have to get TWO new cards! I hate people so much. I'm about to become a cash and checks only type of person like my mom! This is the second time in less than a year that this has happened to me.

same here, i had a starbucks reload charge for $50 and an overstock pending charge for $1 (who know what the actual amount is). Crazy weird because I never use this particular card!

They hit my account for a $1. charge for no reason. I don't shop at this site. Ironically, shortly thereafter, my account was charged over $100 for a charge at Amazon, which I did not authorize. Bank processed fraud investigation, which may take 7-10 days days to refund money to my account. At this time of year, I can only imagine how may people are affected but don't even realize it right away.

Me too... i just get the notification about charge a 1.00 US$ on my card. I don't even know about www.overstock.com before. I was mailed the customer support company to cancel the charge and called my bank to blocked my credit card for a while.

I shopped on-line from South Africa - purchased goods from the African Hut for my son who lives in the USA. No sooner had I entered my card details I received an advise from my bank of a $10 charge to my account from these "Overstock" guys - had it reversed but now worried that they might use my card details again.

I live in Phoenix, Arizona and this morning while I was on my way to work I received an email notice of suspicious activity on my debit card with the 800-8432446 UT tag on it. I immediately called my bank and had my debit card cancelled. At lunch time, I had to physically go into a local bank to get a temporary card issued and also contacted Overstock so the $1 charge could be disputed. This whole stupid affair has completely interrupted my work day and it is making it impossible for me to use my bank account. The new temporary card (which the guy at the bank assured me would be instantly ready to use) still is not working. Altogether, too much time and energy wasted over a stupid dollar charge from a phishing attempt! Not good!
