I never authorized this charge. I called to remove and was told they would cancel it but they just charged a higher amount moving forward. I never agreed to this charge.

I noticed a charge to my checking account of $23.95, from "MVQfreescore". I went to their website and attempted to cancel the "membership" a couple days ago. I still see the charge listed as "processing", so I attempted to call their 800 number, and a very rude female voice began asking for personal information which I am unwilling to give. I hung up on her. I then attempted to call Bank Of America to contest the charge, only to find that since today is a national holiday, the operators are not on duty. I will call the bank back tomorrow.
I signed up for a free credit report, not to be billed monthly. This is misleading, at the very least. Free means free, in my book, so where do they get off charging for it?
I clicked 'Unauthorized Charge' above, but I think that 'Bad Business Practice' & 'Misleading Advertisement' probably also apply here.

Anyone else out there interested in filing a class action suit against this company? I will check back to this thread every few days to see. I signed up for what was supposed to be a free credit report. I then began noticing charges to my bank account. I have attempted to cancel the "membership", as yet to no avail. This is some kind of marketing scam, and I aim to stop it somehow.

I used this service once a year ago for a credit score for my lease and just now noticed they have been charging me once a month for the past 12 months! I have not used the service since and was only supposed to be charged for a one time fee. The fees go once a month from January until the most recent in December

Standard credit report site that ends up enrolling you in a subscription package and doesn't give you anything without paying more.

I have been getting my account cbarged $49.95 a month for a service I never signed up for. There was only one online service that I have signed up for to assist in repairing my credit and if this charge was a part of the affiliation with credit repair.com the I may have to cancel that service also. If this service has no affiliation with credit repair.com then these erronious charges need to cease immediately.
