Does anyone know if this is legal? I was charged for something (which I do not remember purchasing...) that I might have purchased over a year ago (last time I flew Frontier). Isn't there some kind of time lapse issue?

We have a suspicious charge of $5.00 on June's Visa statement which is labeled "FRONTIER ONBOARD F9 MILWAUKEE WI" and dated 6/5. We have not flown on Frontier Airlines this year and my wife and I were in Breckenridge CO the whole week including 6/5. Please refund my money, and assure me that my identity was not stolen.

My charge was charged on a flight in September, 2012 and this just appeared on my bank statement (used ATM card) charge was $11.00. It was a valid charge on that date, but 10 months to run it through to my bank is excessive. Requested a refund.

This $3.00 charge suddenly appeared on my credit card. CHKCARDFRONTIER ONBOARMILWAUK WIUS What is it and why? Why is this charge on my account. This is unauthorized and never was authorized please credit immediately. I will report Frontier for fraud if this is not taken care of. Both my husband $28.50, and I 10.00, received charges on our debit cards and we have no idea why! In my husbands case, this amount causes an overdraft fee for $30! We can't even recall last time we flew frontier! The amount below is total not including overdraft.

I flew with you airline 10/7/12 and I just got a Visa charge 06/10/2013
FRONTIER ONBOARD F9 / MILWAUKEE WI : Loan Advance DATE:20130608. Some people have better shit to do with their time then research, call their Visa company and freak out about an "unauthorized" charge.

We must remember that "Frontier" is right there on the label. These folks still transport credit charges across the Rockies by horse-drawn covered wagons with some mighty long river passages via canoe to boot. We should be understanding of the hard forged lives these people undergo to bring us modern air travel. When I saw this charge on my CC today, I almost got angry, but remembered these hardships undertaken and so gracefully acquiesce to this incredibly lame business practice.

I have a very similar situation to these folks. Two mysterious charges to my debit card for $12 that appear to have come through late last night, also stating something about Milwaukee. Never flown through there on Frontier... I did however take a flight on Frontier this year.
Has anyone listed here even gotten a response? I am very concerned about this. As a college student, $24 is a part of my budget I cannot afford to go without. Please refund this charge.

It's bizarre. I had a charge of $7 from June of this year for "FRONTIER ONBOARD F MILWAUKEE WI" and I haven't flown Frontier since November of last year. I have no idea if I the charge is correct or not since I don't remember from over half a year ago whether or not I bought a snack or whatever on a flight. At worst it's a mischarge at best it's a charge not filed in a timely manner.
Anyways, I disputed it with my bank and they credited the amount back to me pending investigation.

I called Frontier Corporate because the same thing happened to me. They explained to me that onboard purchases sometimes take months to clear. In my case it took 6 months. You can call them and they will tell you exactly what you purchased as long as you give them the flight number and date you flew.

My statement reads "Frontier Onboard f9 Milwaukee WI 3/22" I am cuurently in Denver and last frontier travel was since Feb1st - to SFO. Pls refund my money and check on fradulent activities within your company. I will sue if I get into any type of theft identity!

I have a similar charge as well. So far my bank is telling me that my card was present for the transaction. Not a chance! I know exactly where I was and have several witnesses to prove it. It's not very much money, but it IS very sketchy.

Our debit card was charged three times, one right after the other for $15, $6 and $6, so therefore the credit union froze the card & there isn't a local credit union here so we don't have access to any of the funds until we get another card. The charges state, "Frontier Onboard Milwaukee WI." Last flight we were on was a year ago, where I used our debit card onboard for the T.V.. Why can't these bottom feeders rip off someone that can afford it along with the fight it takes to get the money back? $27 may not seem like a lot, but it is to us. What I really want to know is how the bottom feeders are able to use our debit card without actually having the card. I had to swipe the card each time we used it, so maybe Frontier's onboard T.V.s or beverage cart scanners are retaining the card's information. Just seems strange that so many on here have the same stories.

OH yeah it's an onboard charge meaning you purchased something on the plane. Forgot to add that on the comment I posted above.

If you purchased food or alcohol it takes 6 months to clear up and show. I remember I used my card to buy a small bottle of jack and coke and it was 7 dollars and they took 7 bucks out just now... I flew in November and it just got charged today.

I called Froniter customer service and they said that they only pull credit card info off of their machines at certain locations, Milwaukee being the most common download location. The customer service rep said it can take months (I last flew in October and just got the charge today) for the credit card machines to make it to Milwaukee. She verified that my charge was in fact correct- I had purchased a sandwich in flight and now 8 months later am finally being charged.

On my way to the store and decided to check my bank acct to make sure I had enough money for my purchase and noticed a $6.00 charged from frontier onbroad,I never flown with them but my husband has almost a year ago. He ate at one place in Colorado and that charge pulled out the next day,so what is this new charge from frontier that's in my acct?????

This morning, when I was going into my bank account, I found out that my credit card was charged by FRONTIER ONBOARD F9 yesterday afternoon on $12 and 19$, two transactions from the airline Frontier. However, the fact that neither I nor anyone in my family did not make any payment by credit card over the last month. And we didn't travel by your AIRLINES! On the Internet I found the information that these write-offs are fraud ( [link removed] )
I kindly request you to look into this situation and return the following sum of my money transaction on my credit card.

Same here. Three months ago (November) I flew Frontier and purchased a snack onboard for $3 with my credit card. That charge showed up on my November statement as "Frontier Onboard F9." However, it is now February and I just noticed another $3 charge from "Frontier Onboard F9" on this month's statement. I have not been on a flight since November, Frontier or any other airline. Granted, it is only $3, but it must be fraudulent or a mistake. I contacted my credit card company to dispute and they are looking into it.
