I ordered some wine and never received it. I number that is associated with this charge is not a valid number.....can you say scam!!!!

I called due to an unrecognized charge. They answered promptly (recording said 3 minutes and it was 3 minutes) then they asked for the last four of the card used and my name. They put me on hold again, and again it was only for 3 minutes. The man came back on the phone, was VERY polite, said the charge was for Legacy Box. I did purchase a 50% deal on a Legacy Box but he said it was purchased via their site so that is why the charge was made to Social Living and not Legacy Box. BTW I did receive the Legacy Box, etc. So this WAS a LEGITIMATE CHARGE.

i was charged $19.82 from living social and i have never shopped on living social? have contacted the bank about the situation

I purchased a voucher to Ral'Eau Salsa dance company. It's like one scam artist partnered with another (that is Ral'Eau with livingsocial). It was a $29 voucher for one month unlimited dance classes. I went over to use the "voucher", only to be pushed to pay an additional $25 (registration fee) and provide my credit card information for recurrent charging after the end of the promotional month (a requirement in order to be able to receive the services I had paid for). I was alarmed when I read about the credit card requirement for voucher holders on their website. I went there prepared but I was surprised to hear about the $25 registration fee on top of it. When I inquired, they were talking in circles and how it's still a great value and how it's their policy, etc. However, none of that is anywhere mentioned in the voucher I purchased and I would have never done so had I known about these fraudulent requirements. They said "it says tax and gratuity not included". Tax is 8.875% and gratuity is optional, how is an extra $25 and a requirement to give you my credit card part of that? Really sleazy.. Livingsocial mocked me and responded in the usual rude way I've been reading about. I deleted my card info right away...

Their website said I had until the charge processed to cancel. I found out immediately that the hotel had a better "deal" that could be canceled on their own site (and also that it was not the correct hotel for my conference!) and tried to cancel. Livingsocial website took me about an hour to get through - they would not cancel the transaction and actually charged it on an EXPIRED card! They will not extend any credit and don't care that the card was invalid - told me to take that up with the credit card company. They are awful! They do not care about customers at all. Groupon is heaven sent! This is not my first bad interaction with Livingsocial, but it will be my last! STAY AWAY!!!

I would never EVER buy anything from Living Social again, I bought a Laser Hair Removal Device, and it is a glorified torch, I have wasted $200 and now they will not give me a refund as it is doesn't meet their refund policy as it was a store item and a final sale. Check and double check their fine print.

My credit card was charged $156 and identified as a Living Social charge. Not a valid charge. Will pursue with my Credit Card Co.

10/11/12 RECUR DEBIT CRD PMT10/10 LIVINGSOCIAL* 202-695-8945 DC 482853XXXXXX2021 082283653576833 ?MCC=7278 $99.00 The only thing I did with Living social in DC or anywhere was take DC OFF my email list b/c I don't live in DC I live in Florida. I never subscribed to any monthly or recurring Living Social service ever. The "DATE OF PURCHASE" is just the day they put the charge through and took the money. I never subscribed. Ever.

I don't know what this charge's have been receiving it on my bill for many months. Please discontinue any charges on my Visa card. another charge on 4/11/13 for $20 with order number 309500814218. Who is making these charges. Where do they go? Do you have a name or address? I am not using these charges. Please stop anymore charges from this company to this account. Please close this account on this card.

This charge appeared on my Business VISA??? Never aware I had authorized this charge. PLEASE EXPUNGE AND CANCEL ANY POSSIBLE FUTURE PAYMENTS.

The extra charge is like a warrantee that if you do not use your living social before the expiration date you will not lose your money. However groupon has the same option for free you automatically do not lose your money that you actually paid.
