TD Bank shut down my card because they had flagged this Honey Coin company for making unauthorized charges. They charged my card $21.34 on January 9th but it wasn’t flagged until January 18th. I had to get a new debit card so hopefully it doesn’t happen again.

Chase fraud alert last Saturday for HTTPSHONEYCOI DE for 21.16, canceled my card and apparently the bank didn't delete some digital token before closing the card, which allowed my replacement card number automatically be updated in digital wallets allowing a second HC charge yesterday, thus they had to delete and cancel the replacement with a new one now on it's way, smh. My understanding the HC stands for honey coin not Shoney's and the fraudulent charges were made through a merchant wallet called "Stripe". Ask your bank to check for this wallet and block it as well as future HC charges. Why are financial institutions not being proactive and blacklisting know fraudulent companies? It's clear it's an issue impacting many different people across various financial institutions.
