I stupidly signed up for some free trial magazines and services through a company called Family Save because they advertized some gift cards or rebates for Walmart and other companies. The trials were about a month long (there were some variations, but I wrote those down) and I was assured several times that I could cancel any trial prescriptions whenever I wanted with a call to Family Save's customer service. I called at least a week before the trial periods were up and, with difficulty (the people didn't want to take no as an answer), I cancelled the services (I asked if all of them were cancelled--inquiring about specific company names to the representative). I received a cancellation number (9245). Over a month later, I received two $30.00 charges on my debit card--both from companies I remembered as free trials I had cancelled. One of them was FamilySave. This is angering.
