I also have had this charged. It was after using freecreditreport.com. also emails started phishing around same time. Credit card company handled.

has anyone figured out who these ppl are my son had a $5.05 plus another $.05 charge on his card unauthorized of course.....bank cancelled card but how does he go about getting it back and who does the bank do the charge back to?

I got a charge from this ethnocom Paris.. had taken a trip to France in June til July and came back now it is October and I get this strange pending 18.24 charge? First if all I do not purchase things online. Chase will give me my money back in 1 day and 4 hrs.

eve, are you from the chicagoland area? I have to believe the card got skimmed by a restaurant or a physical credit card reader at a retailer. Seeing as some people posting are from Chicagoland. I'm from the south suburbs of Chicagoland.

I have the same unauthorized pending charge appear today.
Pending Misc. Debit POS DEBIT ETHNOCOM PARIS 18 $18.42
Calling the bank now to see what this is about. Have any of you had this resolved?

Unauthorized charged for $18.37 showed up on my Chase checking account. The charge is still pending and came 2 days after applying for a credit card refinancing/consolidation loan online at lendingclub.com.

I don't have a Chase CC, mine is from a Wells Fargo account. I purchased online a cooking item called precision nuwave. I was wondering if this may be how this charge was fraudulently posted to this CC. The only other thing I can think of is that this charge card is sometimes used at Goody Goody Liquor and Dollar Tree. I was just wondering if anyone may have shopped these same places. Maybe someone working for them is skimming customer credit cards.
