charge on my card of 36.22 recurring for past six month called credit card company agent said he would issue an email to them to stop billing me for sevice i do not want will this work?
I noticed today when I logged into online banking that there are two pending charges from echst.net. I immediately called the number on the back of my credit card and reported it stolen. This is what I would recommend anyone with this problem do. I looked back and noticed they also charged a small charge of $3.49 a few days ago. In total, they have attempted to charge $126.46 on my credit card. I filed a dispute for the $3.49 charge and was not able to dispute the rest since those charges are still "pending" since they are so recent. Also, please pay attention to your credit card statement, looking for any small charges so that companies like this can't take advantage of you. If you catch charges early, they can't take much from you, if anything.
I tried visiting echst.net. There is a spot to enter in your email address to look up your current accounts. I typed in my email address and it says "No accounts associated with this email address." So, in other words, there is no reason for echst.net to be billing my credit card for anything since I do not have any accounts. I pressed the print scr button on my keyboard and went to an image editing application and saved a copy of the screen that says there are no accounts associated with my email address. Does not hurt to evidence as I am disputing this with my credit card company. I tried contacting live support and they asked for the last four numbers of my credit card, my name and my zip code. I wasn't so sure I wanted to give them that information.

If you see this charge for $2.00 USD and you did not make this charge contact the bank that issued the card and cancel the card ASAP !!!!!!!!!!
My bank blocked a charge from them for $178.72 USD from ECHST.NET and they 2.00 USD never posted as reported from my bank and was returned 3-7 working days later
From what I know of they will test the card for $2.00 USD then try to charge it odd amounts these people are not so nice when you talk on the phone with them.
These people are rude and up to some kind of scam. They don't even try to be polite about stealing your money. Stay away, big problem. Your financial information has been compromised.
this is the worst company every. they charged my credit card and I believe they gave my credit card out to others because i soon started reciving all kinds of international charges all of the world for things i did not buy. STAY AWAY
If this charge of $2.49 is not returned to my account within 2 business days, I will have no choice, but to take legal action against this company, and anyone associated with this process ! Better Business Bureau will, and must be contacted, so that you will be on file for futher action, if needed ! WARNING: I am serious, I will do whatever it takes to resolve this issue ! i am not nor should be billed. unless i am informed prior. to withdrawals. from the 3rd to the 4th. And charging a person when banks are closed on the 4th proves thief. For what billing reason. .
Would definitely recommend calling the number on the back of the card and reporting it stolen. If the bank is like mine and has an automated 1-800 number, it would be possible to report the card stolen anytime, day or night, during business hours or on a holiday. It might also be possible to go into your online banking and dispute charges or report the card lost or stolen there.
