How happy I should be for a invoice or at least a trackinginformation of the unauthorised Theft from my credit account of 169,22 USD Identified as Ebay INC 888-749-3229 ...I am a buyer, not a seller. The Theft from my Creditcard is far from the 38 USD a "10% fee" would represent on my buyings on Ebay. It is actually 45% of my total purchase history. Any explonation on that? Cause Ebay Customer service dont have one, instead they tell me they have not the faintest idea where this number comes from, except they suggest it might be a telephonenumber, and since it/the transaction cannot be traced, there is little I can do except Call them in Calefornia. They are very eager to have me Call them in Calefornia, from Norway. How about an invoice, in writing, that would be something.. my Bank has made a case on unauthorised transaction on it, and transfered the case to Visa. Thats where it belongs. I hope they will solve the matter.

I just find out charge of $2.70 by EBAY 888-749-3229, CA on my credit card in May statement. First it looks like fraudulent charge. But I checked my eBay account and I discovered that in April I had sale fee of $2.70. I sold just one item and forgot about. So eBay posted this sale fee to my credit card. So if having on statement something like this: Merchant description: BUSINESS SERVICES (NOT ELSEWHERE CLASSIFIED) Merchant information: 888-749-3229, CA check at first your eBay account!!!!

It is a fraudulent charge. I had the same recurring charge and Ebay nor Paypal had any record of the transaction. Call your bank and dispute the charge then request a new card. Also, ext. 65865 gets you a live person who just sets the phone down. Sounds like a residence.
