Received "free" call from Ashland, AL jail and phone connection was so poor, I had to ask my brother to yell to hear him. Jail personnel told him not to yell. The free call cost $1.80. Had to then accept another call which I was charged for and the audible reception was NO better. The recorded directions for obtaining the fee for the call was loud and clear. Absolutely poor service for the cost, no matter where the call is coming from.
