I too have been scammed at the Penmex on the Cabo corridor near the hospital on 9-23-22. Ugh! $1001.04. I too was told that the scanner was not working and they ran and got a new scanner and I used another card. The purchase was for fuel. hahaha on the $1001.04 charge being a valid charge! I know gas is pricey...but come on! I am disputing with my USAA visa.
