$26.41 was charged on my bank card on 12/15/12. I didn't do this, and I've never heard of you. Received a call from the freud dept of my bank for this charge and two others (Match.com and Badoo). I've been married for 40 years! I don't know if this charge was for a subscription or what?
Just yesterday of 4/27/17 I was charged $40.00 by CL Media for something that I don't know of. What is interesting though is that this occurred after I canceled a subscription and deleted my profile from a website named onenightfriend.com
The site itself didn't charge me anything, neither for the cancelation. Whatever or whoever this CL Media is they need to stop this, and take responsibility for these unreasonable actions they have been doing. Right now I'm expecting compensation for them taking my money from my credit card without my approval.
This site referenced in the complaints above is, in fact, operating as a money diverting and collections for compromised CC information in the past.
It works two ways, one in which it preys upon (typically) men via biological, visceral, stimulants, preprogrammed into our chemistry using a subtle, yet clever, tried and true method of "slow playing" (for those of you whom enjoy poker hyperbole) the mark (in this case, you). It is done by hinting at the promise of sone of our most basic needs, companionship, sex, and love, presented in a way that seems "attainable" but not overwhelming either. However, as with the other lessons that anyone who is still reading this post and following along, and therefore, should have learned at this stage, is that anything that seems to be too good has raised that little alarm you suppressed, and rightfully so.
The second way this CL Media operates well is that, and I'm purely making an assumption here, the minority of posters airing their grievances here actually had their data compromised prior to the subscription, but only now had their data sold, submitted, processed, and filtered through this company with an auspicious amount of customer service.
This is purely speculative.
What is certain is that any 'Azzhat' above that has posted any identifying information, or issued a vacuous command to have their money returned, post haste, lacks the levels of cognitive activity that would make them even deserving of getting any money back.
Good luck, anyway. If demanding your credit back from this posting board doesn't work, try submitting a petition to small claims court on the sidewalk outside of your apartment and see if the arbor judge will find your arguments favorable enough to award you with a favorable verdict.
I was charged $45 on my debit card by CL Media and reported to my nank as unauthorized, since I never made any transactions to any dating sites. I am married with two small kids. The bank did their investigation and would not reverse the charge. It's really crazy on how someone can still my information and do something like this.
Cougar life has charged my credit card without my authorization. I did not select a recurring subscription. I cancelled it. They still went ahead and charged me $87.00.
I was charged an amount for a subscription, however, when I looked on my CougarLife account, I did not have an up to date subscription. I do not want the subscription, and want the money put back into my account.
im trying to cancel my membership but the only way to do that is to call them, but they are closed till monday and thats when my trial will become a monthly membership
I signed up for only one month, stopped using it after a week and didnt think i'd need to remove my credit card info because i only signed up for a 1 month sub. i did not want recurring subscriptions. i want this to end and i want my 46 dollars back.................................
I paid for a month of cougar life about 6 months ago, and now at 49 dollar charge is pending on my card. I did not sign up for more than a month and will not. Im disputing why this charge is just now coming up on my card
This is an unauthorized subscription starting on 12/6/2012. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and do not even have access to internet dating sites. I have tried calling customer service to cancel, but I do not know the email information, etc they were asking for since I did not create this account. My bank has also been alerted to this fraudulent recurring charge and my temporary Power of Attorney is working with the bank to have all charges stopped and have my money reimbursed to me. *The last four of my card are 9196.
Whilst talking to my bank the clerk noticed a charge in US dollars on my account and queried whether I had been to The USA recently. I told her I had not and she pointed out I had been charged by CL media 5 Nov 2012 by POS 5028 01NOV12 , CL MEDIA , 877-2145393 US , USD 182.29, RATE 1.6022, CHARGE 1.25, ERTF 3.13 which equated to £118.15 I am unaware that i have signed up for any product by this company and as far as I know have not authorised this charge. Could you please investigate this for me as this is a substantial sum of money to lose fraudulently.
I realised they had charged me on a monthly subscription. I phoned the number listed on the website and cancelled the charge. I did not authorise a monthly subscription, but did sign up for what I believed was an initial one off payment. Unable to cancel online, you need to call their hotline.
I was charged $40.00 USD by CL Media on Jan. 2, 2013 for a website www.cougarlife.com, subscription renewal for an account I had canceled 3 or 4 days prior to the renewal date. This site is a fraud to begin with!
I have tried can eling the subscription. Every time icall their number they are "closed". I do not authorize the charges and that that i had at least canceled the payments but i keep getting charged!!
the site claims to be a online dating website to socially network with others, but it ends up being a webcam chat site that are only long distance contacts while soliciting themselves. cannot cancel subscription online which was misleading. must call 800 number to cancel which is very inconvenient and may possibly lead to scam.

I cancelled my subscription a few months back and surprisingly i just saw a charge showing on my credit card bill from CL media for what reason i don't know. I am no longer a member of the site so therefore i want no more charges coming from my credit card.
