I didn't see any comments on this CHEVRON 00201233 pre-auth charge discussion so I'll add here in case someone else may search and wonder about it: I called up my credit card and they explained that is usually a test charge from the Chevron gas station (or Chevron company itself, I'm not sure) where you used that card to purchase your fuel, and that test charge won't be posted to your account. Usually it's only $1 test charge, so $101 drew a red flag for those who check their account and saw that $101 before it's taken off.
