Me too! Several days ago they took out nearly $200!! I had no idea who or what this company was about! Contacting them was horrendous! They tell you contact [email protected] and it is evident that "SKIP" is not 1 person..because I was asked for the same information several times, it has to be a team of people that does not coordinate what they are doing! I had to go to my bank and file a fraud report!!!

I got 2 charges on the same day for CHEGG, I am out of school and never heard of CHEGG and had to cancel my credit card which is a giant pain in the butt since most of my bills are on autopay.

My daughter had the same problem with a charge from Chegg on her credit card. We tried to dispute it last year, with no success. This time I got angry. She tried to contact Chegg, but she didn't have an account with them, so she couldn't log in. After searching the internet, I learned that Chegg had purchased a company known as Cramster. Cramster was an online study service. That is where the original charges began, three years ago. Unfortunately, my daughter had changed colleges, emails and sources for study information. Long story short: we went to the Cramster site, asked for a live chat and gave the person the two possible emails. Finally, success. We were able to close the account and have the charges refunded. The moral: close accounts that you aren't actively using and check your credit card statement carefully each month.

Stay away from this company. My daughter ordered textbooks in January of this year, and in June, I had 7 fraudulent charges hit my credit card totaling over $400. I have to dispute the charges which will take 2 months, and I have put a block against Chegg for any future charges.

This is a shady practice & a ripoff. Chegg should be ashamed, exposed and the practice stopped. The number to call is 1-844-213-4635. My backstory: I have been paying my son's credit card since he is a student. Since last fall I have been paying Chegg $14.95 every month & thought my son was renting a text book. Last week, I finally asked him about the charge and he knew nothing about it. I called the above number and they said there is an automatic checkmark authorizing a "study" charge. Said he probably "didn't notice it", which obviously is exactly what they are banking on. They are giving a refund for the original &70 + a refund for 6 months worth of charges. I objected, saying this is a shady practice and they should refund all charges. Chegg said they are only authorized to give a 6 month refund. I asked for supervisor who is scheduled to call me back. They will get an earful about this dishonest practice and a persistent demand for a full refund. I don't give up easily. Everyone who has experienced this should send a report to the Better Business Bureau and any other outlet for evaluating scams like consumeraffairs.com/education/chegg.html, www.ripoffreport.com/r/chegg etc. Google Chegg ripoff report.

My debit card was charged $74.95 on March 31, 2014 listed as CHEGG *EDUCATI WWW.CHEGG.COMCA. I have never used chegg before so I'm asking if anyone has a phone number I can call. Thanks!

as far back as September of 2013 I have been charged 14.95 for something I didn't know about. my wife had been doing the reconciling and then it caught my attention and we could not trace back. I am disputing all those charges and want my membership if there is even one cancelled immediately.

OMG can anyone help me I am having the same problem when I logged into my Huntington account and it says that $66.00 has been withdrawn from my account under the name of CHEGG *EDUCATI. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING can somebody help me get a refund i know its not much but its all I have as a college student with FEES TO PAY MONEY IS ESSENTIAL.
