I did order through amazon and this is how it is billed by Synapse Services, Inc the company that supports the subscriptions for amazon.

A charge for $29.95 appeared on my card in March, 2017. I have no magazine subscriptions through amazon. When I called the 800 number listed, they told me the best way to verify would be to give them my credit card number--so I hung up.

SSI Magazines attempted to charge my VISA for $20 on 16Jan2017. Company has now been flag as fradulent by my CC Company.

A charge for $49.97 showed up on my credit card. I called the number listed with the charge and was informed the auto renewal for this subscription was cancelled Feb 2016. I cannot figure out how to get this stopped & get a refund of the charge.

Check your subscription setting for magazines at Amazon.com. Sometimes, the magazines go on auto-renew by default and you need to turn that off.

For a second go-around, I have received an erroneous charge for $30.00 dated July 11, 2016. Through my credit card company, I was unsuccessful in getting the charge cleared. I will be trying to clarify and remove directly with AMZ. This was unauthorized and repetitive. We'll see how cooperative they are.

Just noticed this charge of $16.23 on my AMEX card from these people. Never ordered, saw or wanted what ever they are peddling. I think its just a scam and called AMEX to dispute the charge. They obviously knew of this and refunded my $16.23 without even taking the matter up with the company placing the charge. Don't let these people take you for a ride. They probably should be investigated for fraud. What is Amazon doing about it, I wonder?

found amz ssi magazines on my credit card statement. In calling to question what this $14.99 charge was for, I got no where. Prompts could not understand what I said and continually asked what magazines I had. Since I have no magazines and the robot couldn't understand that, it was a waste of time. I wonder if that was the object. The charge is still on my bill.

in my credit card statement, I saw $10 charged w/ description " AMZ*SSI Magazines 8005862199 WA" AND another transaction "MEMBERSHIP FEE NOV 09-OCT 10" for $0.00. The latter transaction does not provide any additional info so I assume it has to be from this net geo magazine company Can someone please confirm if you see similar transaction in your credit card account as well? It is only $0.00 but if I get a confirmation it is from this magazine then I can put a reminder to calendar to cancel the subscription
