I booked a trip by cashing in points from my credit card via the credit card's mechanism for cashing in points, and as the points did not completely cover the cost, this TripChrg turned out to be that difference. However, the way it is posted on the credit card statement only causes confusion.

I booked a flight through Budgetair.com. I had a charge confirmation for 1555.77 + 85.57 ( optional insurance. ) I was aware of a penalty of $100 in case of a flight change ( which I had to pay because I could not get my visa on time for the stop in China. I was upset because I also had to pay $ 317 penalty to the airline company. Now what are those other charges debited on 18.01? I am not willing to pay an overcharge amount that was neither scheduled, nor authorized.

Reserved room at Laquinta Inn, Ft. Lauderdale Fl.--3800 W Comm. Blvd..33909--
Cancelled--got my reward points reinstated--insurance refunded but was charged the 301.74 by the hotel for cost over points.

I booked a reserveration through Orbitz on October 15th 2012. My credit card was build by ALG but I never recieved a conformation by Orbitz. When I called Orbitz they had no reservation on file but ALG had no problem billing me $3575.71. I am disputing this matter and would like it to be resolved.
